Hi. I just wanted to add my opinion on the story of Joseph Coryea being caught in Albany with crack cocaine posession. He was my French teacher in 8th grade. He was my favorite teacher and still is to this day. He was always on time and nice and believed in his students. Maybe he just got caught up in some bad habits, but there is no reason for people to go around telling me he is a horrible guy. Am I right? I mean, if he was teaching me this very minute and I knew he had crack in his possession, I would still treat him with the same respect I did when i was in 8th grade and none of this was going on. I believe in you Monsieur Coryea! Everyone deserves a second chance!!!!

i agree with everything dgriffinator has to say about Monsieur Coryea. He is one of my favorite teachers definitly favorite french teacher and he was awesome. He cared about how everyone did and wouldn't take crap from anyone. He knows how to teach interestingly and expresses that he cares about your opinion. I am supposed to have him for french this year and i hope i do. I would act like nothing ever happened because he always forgives and forgets when someone acts up in class. I wish him the best luck in everything he has to go through right now and everyone better back off with negative comments!!!!!

yes I wouldn't want any teacher teaching my kids if he was into drugs,isn't that what we are teaching the kids,stay off drugs?

Yes. But we also try to teach kids forgive and forget and that everyone makes mistakes that they regret later on. Besides that....he wasnt even proved that he had crack in his body, he just had it in his car or pocket or something. I'm not trying to be nasty haha like that Calvanesent person whoever he is.

I am a good friend of Joey's. I just read your posting. I wanted to tell you how nice it was. Joey loved his work and spoke about how special his kids were to him all the time. It's unfortunate that things went the way they did with him...he was hanging out with the wrong crowd, so this was almost bound to happen. I know he would appreciate your loyalty.
