Two teams with preseason AL Central title aspirations are instead far behind the Tigers and White Sox. It's a safe bet both teams will end the season disappointed in not making the playoffs.
Cleveland has won four of five from
Minnesota this year, sweeping three at home in the season's first week and splitting a pair in late May at the Metrodome. The Indians haven't seen the Twins since Minnesota rookie left-hander Francisco Liriano took off in the rotation. He and Johan Santana have formed arguably the majors' best 1-2 punch in the past few months and have been a great money play at the
sportsbook.
