One of the commentators on Fox News objected to the plan because it would coerce healthy teenagers to have health insurance that they did not need. This is one of the dumbest comments I have ever heard. Teenagers have accidents and diseases and health problems just like everyone else. Also, the bases of all insurance is that some need it and others don't at certain times. Think of car insurance- some people never need it but they still have it.
