Cancer Awareness

I think the Fox23 Buddy check is great. I just wanted to try to make other online users aware of The Breast Cancer Site. If you go to www.thebreastcancersite.com there is a link on the home page to click EVERY DAY to help fund mammograms.

The Breast Cancer Site was founded to help offer free mammograms to underprivileged women nationwide -- women for whom early detection would not otherwise be possible. Before we understand what cancer or cysts are, we should try and understand what a cyst in itself is. A cyst is a bag or a sac of tissue that contains fluid. In other words, a cyst is a collection of fluid that is surrounded by a thin wall. Now, when this sac like structure that is fluid filled in found in the ovary it is called the ovarian cyst. Usually in the medical terminology, when a follicle that is found in the ovary is more than two centimetres large, it is considered as a cyst. Thus, an enlarged ovarian follicle may also be referred to as an ovarian cyst.
