    crash in mohawk

this is not the first time the kids have done this. there has been many times when i have driven down albny bush road and the kids came out of nowhere and cut vehicles off and then proceed in front of you and not let you go by them then they look back at you and laugh. there has been many times that this has happened and i know alot of people this has happened to. i am in no way suggesting that they had this coming to them. why werent they wearing helmets. why do they need to drive on the road when there is tons of feilds there they can drive. they have also done this with theier four wheelers. maybe if the parents whatched them better this would not of happened.

    Re: crash in mohawk

Please don't get me wrong I feel for the families of this tragic accident. But these kids have been riding GoKarts motorcycles, lawn mowers up and down this road for a long time and many people have feared just what has happened. Do we feel grief for the kids and families yes. But why didn't these parents stop them. Also what about the other victim do you think this driver is not devistated. She will have to deal with this tragedy too. Nobody seems to think about the fact that she's hurting too. To have to live with the thoughts of this accident for the rest of her life. Albany Bush road has been a known drag strip for FMCC college students. That alone is reason enough to keep off the road. The speed limit should be reduced. Children at play signs posted. The best is the lady who says she stops to see if they are coming on their Go-kart or motorcycles. Whats that tell you she knows they are on the road. Not everyone knows they are on the road. It is a public highway. I really am not trying to minimize the loss of these two boys. But we need to consider the other victim (the driver) and we need to concider what needs to be done to make sure this doesn't happen again. In time I bet the rest of the kids will be riding up and down this road again. It breaks my heart for everyone involved, but lets learn from it and say a prayer for everyone. the boys, the familys and the driver
