My second question is can you explain what happened to the Watervliet/Fonda football game

clip that Fox23 aired early Sunday morning October 18th.The game was from the 17th of October.I stayed up to catch it after the extra inning Yankees game,& Fox in fact had Fonda & Vliet,but when I checked this morning (10-18) on the site I cannot locate it.

Watched the promo for this special report. "We need to renew our license to drive, to own a dog, to go fishing...etc. But we don't have to renew our license for our guns."

Couple of points -

*Out of all the examples given, which actions ( dog owner, driver, fishing, etc.) are protected by the Bill of Rights in ourConstitution?

*Most of the firearms shown in the promo were long guns. They don't require any license in upstate NY....

*To acquire a handgun license in the Capital District one must take and pass safety classes. Pass an FBI investigation. Pass a review by local police. Provide multiple references of one's good character. Pay over $100 in non-refundable fees. Be finger printed and OK'd by the local County Judge. This takes in excess of 8 months to get through. One misdemeanor, one domestic disturbance, one hickup and the Judge pulls the license..........

“Words that Walk” Summer Inspirational Writing Campaign presented by the

Down Syndrome Aim High Resource Center and supported by Pet Spas of America

What: The Down Syndrome Aim High Resource Center (DSAHRC) provides parent-to-parent and professional services to individuals with Down syndrome and their families so that they may have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential and become fully included members of their communities. In advance of this year’s Buddy Walk we are inviting students to participate in the “Words that Walk” Summer Inspirational Writing Campaign. Students are invited to submit one of the following ;writing piec es below that portray the mission of the DSAHRC and the Buddy Walk.

- Poem/song lyrics

- 150-word essay/words of inspiration

- Open letter to fellow students/peers

Entries should focus on promoting any or all of the following: acceptance and inclusion; equality; humanity and kindness among all individuals. They should also serve as inspirational words of encouragement for fellow students and peers.

Who: Students ages 8-14 are eligible to submit entries. There is a side called onlinetvrecorder.com where you can record 49 puplic german TV Stations
also some german TV Stations have the possibilities to watch some of their Series on their Web
side. Now I asked myself if there is any similar website where I can record american TV stations
or if the American TV give the possibilty to watch some of there series for free like rtlnow.de
One the one hand I want to improve my english knowledge and on the other hand, some american
series a very cutted here.

Following Legal system stories needed

There are several topics related to the legal system that would make great and badly needed articles. I hope FOX News covers these stories. Considering that around 40% of marraiges end in divorce, I think a tremendous nmbr of people would be interested in these topics.

1) www.yellowpages.com is a place where people can go to review lawyers. You can look up a lawyer, and write your review. Not sure if anyone is aware of this, there are virtually no reviews entered now. People are largely in the dark now about what lawyer to hire. If people used this resource, and a large body of reviews was eventually built up; obviously it would be extroadinarily important and beneficial to society. Please get out some publicity that this site exists, we have to get people using it.

2) That the current divorce system fundamentally doesnot work - it costs society millions of dollars, and is essentially lawless (in the sense that a judge can assign any settlement, there are no laws as guidelines), and random (in that due to the lack of laws, and the lack of information on precedents, different judges can assign radically different settlements to similar cases), and cases are often settled simply because people run out of money for legal fees, resulting in basically incomplete or incoherant settlements.

Need to develop a system that either allows consumers to easily look up info on all legal precedents; and/or has optional standard settlements that people can opt for sparing them the emotional and financial costs, and the essential randomness, of the current controntational system.

3) The Committee on Professional Standards is supposed to protect consumers against lawyer misconduct. However, my guess is perversely its the opposite, that in reality it protects lawyers from consumer complaints. The Committee is 18 lawyers and 3 civilians policing lawyers. My experience with them in my complaint is they donot actually investigate anything, just take statements from each side, no attempt to contact others that can verify things; that they use no basic common sense in figuring things out; and make no attempt to reference legal precedents. Therefore nothing can ever be proven, if all you do is take statements. I can provide details on my particular case if you wish. I would be very curious to find out what percentage of the time they actually find for the consumer, of course that info they will not give out.
