Town and Village officials, and New York State partners, will gather at the Waterford Harbor Visitor Center on Sunday, June 1^st at 9:45 for the official opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for the Waterford Harbor Farmer's Market.  The Market will take place each Sunday from June through October, and in addition to the market vendors, will feature music, boat rides, and community group involvement.  At the first market this Sunday, there will be a raffle to benefit the fire victims of the recent 11-unit apartment house fire in Waterford.  The market will include a variety of vendors featuring locally grown fruits and vegetables, jams and jellies, meats, wines, plants and more.  For additional information, visit www.waterfordmarket.org or contact Market Manager Mary Stalker at (518) 665-8344.

Directions to Waterford Harbor Visitor Center:  Take 787 north to the end.  Turn right onto Route 32, follow Route 32 for 2 miles into Village of Waterford.  Turn right at third traffic light in Village onto Third Street.  Proceed two block to South Street, take a left and then next right onto Tugboat Alley.  Ceremony will take place on waterfront side of Visitor Center.
