S.T.A.R. (Summer Theatre at the Rep)
July 7-August 8, 2008
The 2008 S.T.A.R. program provides a five week opportunity for teens to grow together as a theatre ensemble. Participants will work with a dramatic writer and other professionals at Capital Repertory Theatre's summer education space, located at The Egg, to create and perform in their own collaboratively written production. S.T.A.R. students will experience workshops in writing, acting, music, dance, as well as set and costume design! This summer's themes, Explore... Discover... Create..., are inspired by the upcoming regional Hudson River Quadricentennial Celebration. The program will end with a weekend of performances.
