It broke records, electrified an entire city and left 'em dancing on the stage. Now it's back with a second dose of musical hilarity for the Capital Region!
Hot flashes, night sweats, bloating, irritability, insomnia and itchy skin interspersed with uncontrollable fits of laughter mean one thing- you must be experiencing Menopause The Musical. This hilarious show about the “change of life” might change your life. Four women meet in the lingerie department at Bloomingdale’s. An Iowa homemaker in town with her conventioneer husband, a business executive, a soap opera star who doesn’t want to grow old and a hippie who never grew up, bond over black lace lingerie. Before long, they realize they have more than one thing in common, which they celebrate with such side-splitting song parodies such as Change, Change, Change; Stayin’ Awake/Night Sweatin’; My Husband Sleeps Tonight; Puff, My God I’m Draggin’ and, of course, We’re Havin’ a Heat Wave. This one is for all the red hot mamas!
This production runs approximately 90 minutes, with no intermission.
