The Executive Women’s Golf Association, a not-for-profit organization formed in 1991, has grown into a network of nearly 20,000 members in over 120 Chapters across the U.S. and Canada.
Dear Prospective Member:
Thanks for your interest in the Albany/Capital Region Chapter of EWGA. We would love to have you join our local chapter of over 220 members across the Capital District and Saratoga Regions.
This is an exciting time in our chapter. Our 2007 EWGA Board is gearing up for another exciting season. As a non-member you are welcome to attend two events per year.
The chapter is managed by a group of professional women dedicated to our primary mission: “The EWGA exists to provide opportunities for women to learn, play, and enjoy the game of golf for business and for life.” As a group we have a lot to offer our members. Our committees include; Communications (newsletter and mailings), Marketing (PR), Events (annual Kick off, outings, socials, & chapter championship), Education (clinics, seminars, & handicapping), Leagues (we have 13 in 2006), Sponsorship (recruiting and maintaining annual sponsors), Breast Cancer Golf Classic-7/9/07 (annual fund-raising golf event-raised over $189,000 to date), and Membership (member database, hotline, new member orientations, & membership correspondence). In our second year at our Annual Kick-off event, we raised over $6,400 for the Double “H” Hole in the Wood Ranch for a total of $9,400.
